Water Street Coffee is looking for an organized artist to support Creative Director with branded materials for print and digital media. Water Street has a strong aesthetic with an emphasis on cohesion across many departments and mediums. Projects include: creation of forms and templates for inter company use, using company branding to create support materials for in store, wholesale, and online use. Assist in in-house printing, laminating, cutting, label setup and print-setup. Comfortable in troubleshooting different printers and computer systems with excellent file management skills. Applicant must have completed coursework in Graphic Design with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite products.


  • Be able to work simultaneously on several projects.
  • Put together disparate elements of a design such as the icons, photographs and other components necessary for visual communication.
  • Contribute to concept creation, marketing, and copywriting  to create cohesive designs that reflect our company culture and goals.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in art or design related field preferred. Social Media, WordPress and photography experience a plus.
  • Excellent communicator, self-motivated with the ability to take direction well.
  • Proven graphic designing experience
  • Possession of creative energy, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
  • Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
  • Adaptive design eye and skill
  • Up to date with industry leading software and technologies
  • Proficient in all design aspects
  • Professionalism regarding use of time, deadlines and relationship to Water Street staff and vendors
  • Experience in restaurant, service industry and/or retail environments a plus
  • Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism

$30,000 – $40,000 annually.  Pay commensurate with relevant experience. This full-time position must have availability Monday-Friday 9am – 5pm. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k and paid time off.

Water Street Coffee is seeking a self-motivated part-time Marketing Intern for the Spring Semester. Marketing Intern will be responsible for updating and maintaining the Water Street Coffee website and social media sites, as well as developing and distributing e-marketing including blogs, e-newsletters, etc.  This includes capturing photography as necessary for social media, maintaining consistent company imagery, presence, and marketing communications for WSC brand. Marketing Intern will assist in organizing and executing customer discounts, promotions, sales and coupons, including retail ecommerce and white label app promos.  Marketing Intern will work closely with Art Department and Regional Managers to coordinate timing, content, and production of posters, signage, and other promotional materials. He or she assists in hosting community and promotional events.   Marketing Intern will update and maintain company-wide Marketing and Promotional Calendar.  


  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing/Advertising
  • Minimum of 3.0 GPA
  • Ability to demonstrate strong leadership
  • Proactive, self-motivated and able to work autonomously and collaboratively
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, including experience with e-newsletters, blogs, social media preferred
  • Must have strong writing and proofing skills, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Must have an interest in the coffee/food industry
  • Must display professionalism regarding use of time, deadlines and relationship to Water Street Coffee staff and vendors
  • Must have current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship

$12/ hour. This position requires a January-April commitment of 15-20 hours per week.

Water Street Coffee is looking for a skilled Chalkboard Artist for 10-12 hours per week.  This position is responsible for design, creation, and maintenance of chalkboard displays at five Water Street Coffee Joint locations, based on direction and deadlines provided by Marketing Director.


  • Proven skills in hand lettering and illustration
  • Capable of maintaining up to date documentation of all featured art and text
  • Self-directed; time management is key
  • Adhere to all Water St. Artwork Guidelines; follow a cohesive aesthetic across all locations
  • A reliable personal vehicle

Water Street Coffee is looking for a full time in-house Service Technician/Delivery Driver. This position delivers and stocks coffee, tea and supplies to local wholesale accounts.  He or she installs, maintains and repairs coffee brewing equipment. Other responsibilities include basic building maintenance and repairs, ordering and managing parts inventory, refurbishing used equipment, and diagnostics for on-site and off-site equipment.


  • Experience performing building repairs
  • Basic understanding of plumbing and electrical
  • Clean driving record
  • Able to lift 60 pounds comfortably
